All Endings Guide

How to unlock all 5 endings in Escape the Backrooms — including the True Escape secret ending.

🏁 Wrong Door (Default Ending)

medium

The default story ending. Complete all levels up to Level 55.1, take the required photos, and escape through the elevator. This is the ending most players will see first.

🏁 Suburbs Ending

medium

A secret ending accessed through a hidden M.E.G. door on the upper ramp of Level 1 (Habitable Zone). Leads to Level 92233.

🏁 Pink House Ending

hard

Unlocked through a hidden M.E.G. door near the exit of Level 6. Collect 12 toys, place them on chairs, and watch Kitty — who only moves when you're not looking.

🏁 Empty City Ending

hard

Post-game ending accessed from the Bunker. Navigate through The Overgrowth and The Grassrooms — two bonus areas with unique mechanics.

🏁 True Escape (Secret Ending)

extreme

The ultimate secret ending. Requires completing all 4 other endings first, then playing the Level 3999 arcade game in the Bunker. The true final challenge.
