Neighborhood Watch

The Neighborhood Watch is a colossal eye entity that patrols the skies of Level 9 (Darkened Suburbs). If it spots you outside, it grabs and kills you instantly.

• Manifests as a giant floating eye that sweeps the suburbs with its gaze.
• Instant death if caught in its line of sight while outdoors.
• Cannot see through roofs — porches and houses provide cover.
• Patrols in a pattern — you can time your movements between sweeps.

• Use porches to move between houses — the porch roof blocks the Eye's vision.
• Never stand in open streets — always move from cover to cover.
• Watch the sky — you can see the Eye's beam sweeping. Move when it passes.
• Plan your route before leaving a house — know which porch or door you're heading to.
• Stay close to building walls when moving — the overhang provides partial cover.
