Skin-Stealer

The Skin-Stealer is one of the most dangerous entities in the game. It can disguise itself as a player, making it extremely hard to distinguish from your teammates in co-op mode.

• Appears in Level 1, Level 5, and Level 8.
• Imitates players — it looks identical to a real player character.
• Cannot open doors — this is its critical weakness.
• Moves erratically and silently, unlike real players.
• If it reaches a player, it deals heavy damage or instant death.

• Close EVERY door behind you — Skin-Stealers cannot open doors. This is the single most effective counter.
• Use voice chat to verify teammates — call out your location. The Skin-Stealer cannot talk.
• Watch for unusual movement — if a "player" walks straight toward you without speaking, it's likely the Skin-Stealer.
• Stick together in co-op — the real players can call out the impostor.
• In solo play, always close doors. If you see another "player" in solo mode, it IS the Skin-Stealer.
