Overview

Level 9 — The Cave System — connects the underwater exit to the surface. This dark cave network is infested with Female Deathmoths and Skin-Stealers carrying flashlights.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Navigate the Caves

• The cave system is mostly linear with some branching dead ends.
• Look for natural light sources (glowing fungi, ceiling cracks) to orient yourself.
• The path generally trends upward — going down means you're off-track.

Step 2: Handle the Entities

• Female Deathmoths: Turn off your flashlight near them. Crouch to reduce detection.
• Skin-Stealers with flashlights: Easier to spot — watch for erratic beam movement. Close doors behind you.

Step 3: Cross the Rickety Bridge

• DO NOT RUN on the bridge — running causes it to collapse.
• Walk slowly and steadily. In co-op, cross one player at a time.

Step 4: Exit to the Surface

Continue upward through the caves. The exit is marked by natural sunlight streaming through a cave opening.

Pro Tips

• Turn off your flashlight near Deathmoths — light attracts them.
• DO NOT run on the rickety bridge — it WILL collapse.
• Cross the bridge one player at a time in co-op.
• Crouching reduces Deathmoth detection range.
